http://www.boyinaband.com – check out my site for the text version of the tutorial, as well as more Reason video tutorials! I use a sample imported into NN-XT and a bit of clever sequencing to achieve this effect. This tutorial is part of my Glitch Hop Week on boyinaband.com so be sure to come over and check out my other blogs and tutorials! If you have a tutorial request just send it my way either here or on my website http If you make anything with this patch, post it as a video response! I totally want to see😀

Just came here to see… but dude, when you started writing two body and html open tags and not closing them i just paused the video and i’m going away from this. I you can’t even get html coding right (even for beginners) then you should stop

Another very good tutorial in this excellent series.

One thing I like too, is the ‘Next in Series’ drop down box on the right hand side. This makes it so much easier to find the specific video. A fantastic advantage over many many other video tutorials.

A credit to you !

WOW this all I wanted to learn on php but I thought I would have to watch all of the other videos to understand this as it is video 18.

This video is so sexual, I think I just came everywhere, your a legend! Instead of just learning how to make forms your videos have inspired me to know how to everything possible in php thanks for your motivation!

notepad++ gives me a hard time looking for typo errors. I mean it didn’t give you any warning or indication, and after all has been done, I have to look all over the place just to find out that I missed a “>” at the end of a line.

Eclipse should work better.

Hi cool video. One question: Can you tell me how the thing is called when i play a note of my keyboard and then it plays like a hole melody instead of just one note? Because i guess it’s no loop, instrument, sample. How do you call it?

@wwwboyinabandcom Now where is that leg ?

19 04 2011
djtyme2008

@wwwboyinabandcom this is waaaaay late and might be a very basic way but… most mixing programs like Virtual DJ, PC DJ, etc… come with a Brake plugin… Sound real to me and I use it often in mixes.. Just hit record in Virtaul DJ and try out the brake settings till you get the one that sounds good to you, then import it into a WAV editing program and your all set !🙂 Thanks for the Vids !!!

would you get a crude stutter if you just cut up the sample with the razor tool and spread them out a bit?

@ounb What I do in FLstew is make the clip you want to slow down unique so it doesn’t fuck up the pitch automation for the entire track and then set a new automation for the pitch of the unique clip sloping down. when it hits the clip the pitch will drop down progressively as fast as the slope applied.

also try the tablestop effect with the plugin dblue glitch🙂
